C6 Verify Mechanical Locking Function

Switch ignition off.




Check that front doors and trunk/tailgate can be locked and unlocked using the key.




Check that the rear doors can be unlocked using the interior locking buttons and interior door controls







NOTE: Try the outer door handle as well (eg. if child lock is activated on the rear doors).

If all central locking modules work mechanically, go to step C7. C7 Verify Ground Cable to Central Locking Relay




If any central locking module will not work mechanically
Mechanical fault in central locking module.
Correct fault or replace central locking module
