Checking Preheating Shutter
- Engine idling.
- Place a hand on the preheating hose where it is connected to the air cleaner (ACL) housing.
- The temperature of the hose should be the same as ambient temperature.

If reading is OK:
^ Proceed to: Checking Mass Air Flow Sensor.

If reading is incorrect:
^ Check preheating shutter in air cleaner housing for leakage.
