Signal Too High. Permanent Fault

Checking Signal Cable
- Connect the test box and check ground terminals.
- Connect an ohmmeter between test box # 26 (# B26) and ground.
- The ohmmeter should read 0 - 3 k ohms.

If reading is OK:
^ Check cable between engine control module (ECM) # B26 and transmission control module (TCM) # B15 for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

If reading is incorrect:
^ Check cable between engine control module # B26 and transmission control module # B15 for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
