Hood Contact

There is an electric switch next to the left-hand hood catch which goes to ground when the hood is opened.

Sound/visual signal
When the alarm is triggered, attention is drawn by means of a separate horn or siren. in addition, there is a visual alarm using the car's normal flashers.
