Checking the hood contact's ground lead




- Ignition Off




- Remove the hood contact's 2-pole connectors.




- Connect an ohmmeter between ground connector and item (B) black lead). The ohmmeter should show approx. 0 ohms.

If the reading is correct:
- Continue with step C3. Step C3

If the reading deviates:
There is a break in the ground lead.
- Rectify the fault or renew the lead.
Replace the hood contact lead or connector.
