Central Locking Inoperable on One Door

NOTE: If drive's door central locking module only will not unlock: go to step C21. C21 Checking Signal Lead to Driver's Door Relay


D1 Verifying mechanical functions for fault on one door
Switch ignition off.



Close door.




Check that the doors can be locked/unlocked using the interior locking button.




Open the door using the interior door handle.


NOTE: Try the outer door handle as well (e.g. if child lock is activated on the rear doors).


If central locking module can be manually operated:
Go to step C15. C15 Checking Central Locking Windings at Door Posts

If central locking module cannot be operated mechanically:




Mechanical defect on central locking module or linkage system to inner lock and door handle.
Correct fault or install new central locking module complete, alternatively only the linkage system.
