Evaporative Emission Control Canister: Service and Repair

Removal
- Raise the car.





- Slacken off the left hand nut.
- Slacken off the front and remove the rear screw on the right-hand side.
- Angle the rear edge of the bracket downward.
- Three hoses on the EVAP canister. (One is secured with a clamp and must be pried off with a screwdriver.





- Remove screw on underside of bracket. (Torx 25), nut in left-hand side of the bracket and EVAP canister.

Installation
- Install in reverse order.
- Tighten screws and nut holding the bracket to the bodywork to 25 Nm (18 ft lb).
- Ensure that the EVAP canister engages in its groove the bracket and in its front catches.

NOTE: Use a new screw clip.
