Rear

TOOL REQUIRED
- 999 5574 Counterhold
- 999 5575 Puller Cylinder
- Or Equivalent

REPLACEMENT




1. Raise the car. Locate the rear arms of the lift so they do not obstruct the support arm.
2. Remove:
- The wheels.
- Nuts in the rear axle beam.
- Screws in the support arms.
- Anti-roll bar





NOTE:
- Only the upper bushings can be replaced.
- If the bushings on the anti-roll bar itself are damaged then the anti-roll bar must be replaced as one unit.




3. Press out the bushing.
- Use puller cylinder, counterhold, drift and puller.




4. Press in the bushing.
- Use puller cylinder, counterhold, drift and puller.
5. Press in bushing until the drift is against support arm.




6. Install the following:
- Anti-roll bar to rear axle beam. Use new nuts.
Tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
- Anti-roll bar to support arms.
Use new screws.
Do not tighten yet.




7. Install the following:
- The wheels.
- Tighten screws support arm - anti-roll bar.
- Tighten to 80 Nm (63 ft. lbs.).
