Battery Discharge Protection:


To stop the battery accidentally discharging through the cargo compartment electrical socket there is a control circuit in the rear electronic module.


If the current in the circuit exceeds 60 mA the following occurs:


1) A text message is displayed in the driver information module when the ignition key is turned from I to 0.


2) There is a short warning beep when the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch.
