Replacing ECC control module

Preparations:

Note! Before replacing the control module read off data from the control module. Program this data back into the new control module.

Removing ECC control module




- Ignition off.
- Remove radio.
- Insert your hand through the radio compartment and remove the ECC control module by pressing it out from behind.
- Disconnect both ECC control module connectors.

Check
- Check that the control module connectors are intact.

Installing ECC control module
In reverse order.

Follow-up work
- Program data read off the old control module.
- Self-adjustment of the motors should be carried out after programming.
- Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) have been stored while the repair was carried out.
