- Fold up the cargo compartment carpet.
- Turn the knob (1) 90 ° and lower the rear side panel.




- Locate the cable splice terminals for the towbar electrical connector at the left-hand rear lamp and separate them from each other.
- Plug the short adapter cable's connectors (1) into connector (2) on the pre-routed cable to the cable harness for the towbar, and into connector (3) on the cable harness routed to the towbar electrical connector.
- Fold back the side panel and refit the cargo compartment carpet.
