Decals For Safety Equipment

Decals for safety equipment

NOTE: The appearance of the decals may vary depending on the market and the model year.

Decals for the safety equipment in the car are in the following positions:

Windshield







This decal indicates that the car is equipped with SRS. The SRS decal is combined with a decal for the SIPS module.

Left-hand side of the engine compartment







Never remove the steering column or steering gear without first locking the contact reel and removing the steering wheel.

The C-post







The SRS decal on the C-post indicates the inspection year and month for the driver and passenger airbag modules.

When replacing the driver's or passenger airbag module, the decal displaying the year and month must be replaced with the decal included with the new component.

End of the dashboard (driver's side)







The decal warns against using seat covers that do not meet Volvo specifications for the front seats.

This decal warns against putting a child seat on the front passenger seat.

WARNING: Never position a child seat on the front seat if the car has a passenger airbag module.
