Seat Heater Module, Replacing

Removing the control module







Raise the seat to its highest position.

Ignition off.







Remove the key.

NOTE: The key must be removed to ensure that the ignition is not switched on by mistake.

Wait 1 minute before starting work.







Remove:
- the panels over the front mountings on the seat: Pull straight up
- the panels above the rear mountings for the seat: Pull up and backward
- the 4 screws for the seat.

Tip the seat back.

Slacken off the screw for the control module.

Remove:
- the connector (2)
- the control module (3).

Installing The Control Module

Install:
- the control module (3)
- the connector (2).

Tighten the screw for the control module.

Tilt the seat back.

Install:
- the 4 screws for the seat. Tighten to 40 Nm
- the panels above the rear mountings for the seat
- the panels above the front mountings for the seat.

Finishing
Check that no diagnostic trouble codes have been stored during the repair.
