Control bobbin and accelerator cable, check/adjust





Note! Check with warm engine.

Remove the throttle body cover.
The control bobbin should move easily without seizing.
The inner cable should be loose and not stretched at the idle position.
The play of the inner cable should be 0.5 - 2.0 mm. If necessary, the inner cable can be adjusted with the help of the other cable and a screw.
Apply full throttleand check that the accelerator control bobbin is in contact with the full throttle stop.

Install the throttle body cover.
