Replacing the component
Check the tailgate wiper fuse; replace as necessary.
Remove relay 2/16 and check the relay base switches for contact resistance and oxidation.
Fit a new relay.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reconnect the components, connectors etc.
- Ignition on
- Activate the relay for the rear wiper motor. tailgate wiper on / intermittent / off.

Does the tailgate wiper operate?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
