Antenna with antenna mounting (ATM), replacing

Removal

Note! As the illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and / or models, some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Preparatory work




- Ignition off
- Disconnect the battery negative lead. See: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting
- Remove the cantrail. See Panel cantrail, replacing Panel Cantrail, Replacing. Remove the D-panels. See Panel D-post, replacing Panel D-Post, Replacing.

Removing the antenna holder




- Disconnect the connectors at the AM/FM receiver
- Disconnect the wiring secured with clips in the antenna mounting
- Remove the screws.

Note! The ground lead on the center screw (applies to 7 seater versions).

- Carefully lift the antenna carrier back. Remove the antenna carrier
- Remove Receiver AM/FM (ATM), replacing Service and Repair and Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair.

Installation

Installing the antenna carrier

Install:
- the receiver. See Receiver AM/FM (ATM), replacing Service and Repair and Receiver GPS, TMC (ATM), replace Service and Repair
- the antenna holder

Note! Check that the U clip at the front edge of the antenna mounting is secured in the mountings in the roof.

- the screws. Tighten.

Note! The ground lead on the center screw (applies to 7 seater versions).

Note! Check that there is no dirt in the optical connectors.

Connect the connectors.





Note! The bend radius of the optic cables must not be less than 25 mm. Connect the connectors.

Finishing work

Install:
- Panel D-post, replacing Panel D-Post, Replacing and the cantrail. See Panel cantrail, replacing Panel Cantrail, Replacing
- the battery negative lead. See: Battery, disconnecting Battery Disconnecting.
Test the function.
