Center console components

Coin tray / CD compartment




Open the cover for the center console locker.
The coin tray rests on a plastic bracket:
Pull straight up.




Remove the 2 screws holding the plastic bracket for the coin tray.
The CD rack is secured by a snap fastener at its front edge:
Pull straight up

Install:
In reverse order.

Parking brake panel




Release the catch at the rear edge.
Lift the panel.
Thread the boot over the parking brake lever.

Install:
In reverse order.

Gear selector panel




Move the gear selector to a rear position.
Lift the rear edge of the panel.
Fold and lift up the panel.




Release the catches on the underneath.
Press up the inner section of the panel.
Release the frame.

Install:
In reverse order.

Side panel




Move the front seat to the rearmost position.
Turn the clips a 1/4 turn.
Slide the panel backwards.
Remove the panel.




Unsnap the nozzle.

Install:
In reverse order.

Rear ashtray
Open the ashtray.
Press down slightly.
Remove the ashtray.
Release the catches on the side.
Pull the holder backwards.
Remove the connector.

Install:
In reverse order.

Handset holder

4-door body

Remove
- the rear ashtray according to Rear ashtray.




- the panel above the cigarette lighter:
Snap loose and fold forward.




- the two screws for the inner panel
- the inner panel.
Release the catches.
Press upward.
Pull off the panel
- the cable lead-in and the cable from the panel
- the two screws for the handset holder
- the handset holder.

Install:
In reverse order.

5-door body
To access and replace the handset, Anti-Theft Protection Storage Compartment.

The panel over the center console locker

Remove:
- the parking brake panel according to Parking brake panel
- the gear selector panel according to Gear selector panel.




- the 5 screws.

Install:
In reverse order.
