Replacing camshaft position sensor (CMP)

Removing position sensor





Remove
- the pipe between the air cleaner (ACL) and the throttle body (TB) put to one side
- the throttle body (TB), to one side




- the sensor.
Expose the wiring and disconnect the connector.

Installing position sensor




Connect the connector.

Install
- the sensor. Secure the wiring




- the throttle body (TB) withnew gasket. Tighten to 17 Nm(12.54 lb.ft)
- the pipe between air cleaner (ACL) and throttle body.
