Front end

Note! The illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and/or models. Some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Removal

Removing the front section

Remove:
- the headlamps
- the bumper. Service and Repair
- the washer jets on the left and right-hand sides
- the cover plate
- the air baffles
- the hood catch cable
- the hood catch
- the radiator mounting
- the servo oil container.

Disconnect:
- the 2 collision sensors
- the cable harness and the radiator hoses from the front cover plate.





Remove:
- the front edge of the fender
- the 3 screws at the top edge of the fender
- the fender and the 5 M6 screws.
Pull out the front edge of the fender slightly to access the screws. See the illustration.




Remove the 8 M8 screws for the front cover plate. Remove the front cover plate.

Installation

Installing the front section

Install:
- the front cover plate using 8 M8 screws
- the cable harness and the radiator hoses
- the servo oil container
- the radiator mounting
- the hood catch
- the hood catch cable.
Check that hood catch opens and closes.

Install:
- the 2 collision sensors
- the air baffles
- the cover plate
- the 2 washer jets.
Align the front fenders. Screw the front fenders into place.

Install:
- the headlamps
- the bumper. Service and Repair.
