Condition




The Phone module (PHM) checks the voltage supply to the telephone handset.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The power supply is lower than 9 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position 0, I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Only hands-free operates.

Possible source
- The cable for voltage supply to the handset from the Phone module (PHM) is short-circuited to ground.

- Cellular phone/Privacy handset does not work
- Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Privacy handset
- Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Handsfree
- Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Unsure when/at all times
