Condition




The Phone module (PHM) checks the signal voltage from the external GPS antenna.
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control module detects:
- Open-circuit on the cable for the telephone antenna signal from the antenna to the Phone module (PHM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position 0, I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- The lead for the telephone aerial signal, between the external GPS-antenna and Phone module (PHM) has an open circuit.
- The lead for the telephone aerial signal, between the external GPS-antenna and Phone module (PHM) is short-circuited to voltage.
- Contact resistance, oxidation or loose connections in the connectors.
