Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information

Condition
The power windows in the rear doors are provided with Hall sensors that measure the rotation speed for each power window and thus determines window position. If a Hall sensor is not functioning in one of the window lift mechanisms, the AUTO-UP or AUTO-DOWN function for that window is not available.
The Driver/Passenger door module (DDM/PDM) supplies the Hall sensor in each window mechanism with power.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal too high from the output.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Damaged hall sensor.
- The voltage feed cable is short-circuited to voltage.
- Open-circuit in the power supply cable.
