Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P073095
Condition
Transmission control module (TCM) calculates the vehicle's speed using the signal from the transmission's speed sensor, output rpm. The calculated speed signal is compared with the speed signal that the Brake control module (BCM) transmits on the CAN network. Both signals should have approximately the same value.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The calculated speed between the transmission output speed signal and the speed signal from the brake control module (BCM) differ.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Normal driving.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Incorrect final drive installed.
Fault symptom[s]
- Irregular gear shift
