Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-U210768

Condition
The control modules in the vehicle send and receive information continuously on the vehicle's controller area network (CAN). Brake control module (BCM) receives request from forward sensing module (FSM), closing velocity module (CVM) or from parking brake module (PBM) to activate the brake function.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The actual braking does not match the requested.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Driving with brake request from any of forward sensing module (FSM), closing velocity module (CVM) or parking brake module (PBM).

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
