Note! The diagnostic trouble code only applies to vehicles equipped with DSTC.

Brake pressure sensors provide the brake control module (BCM) signals regarding the pressure in the brake system. If the brake control module (BCM) registers an incorrect signal from a brake pressure sensor, diagnostic code BCM-C004401 or BCM-C004501 is generated depending on which sensor is involved.

Substitute value
- TC is blocked.
- SC is blocked.
- AYC is blocked.

Possible source
- Open circuit in the cables.
- The cables are short-circuited to ground or voltage.
- Damaged pressure sensor.
- Internal malfunction in brake control module (BCM).

Fault symptom[s]
- General warning light on.
- Anti-spin is not operational.
- The stability function is not operational.
- The anti-skid function is not operational.
