Note! The diagnostic trouble code only applies to vehicles equipped with DSTC.

Diagnostic trouble code BCM-C006A16 is generated if the brake control module (BCM) registers that the voltage feed to the AYC sensor is below approx. 6 V ±0.5 V.

Substitute value
- TC is blocked.
- SC is blocked.
- AYC is blocked.

Possible source
- Contact resistance in AYC sensor connections.
- Cables short-circuited to ground.
- Open circuit in the cables.
- Internal malfunction in AYC sensor.
- Internal malfunction in brake control module (BCM).

Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- General warning light on.
- Anti-spin is not operational.
- The stability function is not operational.
- The anti-skid function is not operational.
