Checking the wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector to the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Check the connections with regard to contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the signal cable between the Integrated Audio Module (IAM) and the speaker in the left-hand rear door with regard to short circuits and open circuits.
Measure between:
- Integrated audio module (IAM) terminal #A6 and speaker terminal #1 in the left rear door.
- Integrated audio module (IAM) terminal #A13 and speaker terminal #2 in the left rear door.
If no fault was detected, replace the Integrated Audio Module (IAM).
Remedy as necessary.
