Condition




The Phone module (PHM) checks the status of the internal SIM card (Subscription Identification Module). The SIM card is in the control module and is only used for Volvo On Call services.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The SIM card cannot be read.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- The application cannot access the SIM card.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- None.

Possible source
- The SIM card is not inserted in the reader.
- PUK code missing.
- The SIM card reader does not work.
