Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information PHM-7B11
Condition
The Phone module (PHM) checks the voltage supply to the telephone handset.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The power supply is lower than 9 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition position 0, I and II.
- Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Only hands-free operates.
Possible source
- The cable for voltage supply to the handset from the Phone module (PHM) is short-circuited to ground.

- HL, Cellular phone/Privacy handset does not work
- KQ, Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Privacy handset
- 7J, Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Handsfree
- FZ, Cellular phone/Other party cannot be heard/Unsure when/at all times
- 7L, Cellular phone/Other party cannot hear/Privacy handset
- 7M, Cellular phone/Other party cannot hear/Handsfree
- HM, Cellular phone/Other party cannot hear/Unsure when/at all times
- IV, Text window and warning symbol/Text message
