Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P061F00

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) checks the signals from position sensor in the throttle unit.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Reconnected throttle position does not change, despite regulation.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Specific operating conditions.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Substitute value
- Cruise control turned off when malfunction is active.
- Feed to the electronic throttle unit shuts off, so that the throttle disc is turned to return position.

Possible source
