Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-P200700

Condition
The Engine control module (ECM) checks the function of the variable intake system (VIS) that affects the air flow in the intake system.
The function can be checked by checking the difference between the measured air flow and the expected air flow.
Expected air flow based on requested position of the actuator.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- The actual air flow differs from the expected air flow, the secondary throttle unit (lower) is detected to be closed.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Less than 2500 meters above sea level.
- Fully open throttle.
- Engine speed 3400-4500 rpm.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
