Replacing Accessory Electronic Module







Accessory electronic module (AEM), replacing

Removal

Note! The illustrations in this service information are used for different model years and/or models. Some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Preparatory work




Ignition off.




Fold up the floor hatch (1) in the cargo compartment.
Remove the floor piece (2).

Removing the accessory electronic module (AEM)




Remove the screws. Disconnect the connectors.





Remove:
- the accessory electronic module (AEM) and the bracket
- the bracket.

Installation

Installing the accessory electronic module (AEM)





Install:
- the control module in the bracket. Connect the connectors
- the control module and the bracket
- the screws.

Ordering software

Note! After replacing the accessory electronic module (AEM), new software must be ordered and the module programmed.
