Global Positioning System Antenna: Service and Repair




GPS Antenna Removal/Installation

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
- Lay a shop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage.

1. Remove these items:

- Audio -navigation and HVAC switch panel Audio-Navigation and HVAC Switch Panel Removal/Installation
- Navigation display unit Service and Repair
- Audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal/Installation

2. Disconnect audio-navigation unit connector J (A).





3. Remove the self-tapping screws and detach the clips, then remove the GPS antenna (B).

4. Install the GPS antenna in the reverse order of removal.
