Rear Fender Liner: Service and Repair




Rear Inner Fender Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or the related parts.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the rear inner fender (A).

1. From the front of the rear wheel arch, remove the screws (B) securing the inner fender and the rear side sill panel (C) or the rear side sill strake (D).

2. From the rear of the rear wheel arch, remove the screws (E) securing the inner fender and the rear bumper (F).

3. From the rear wheel arch, remove the bolts (G) and detach the clips (H, I).

4. Left side: Release the fuel filler pipe tube (J) from the fuel fill door adapter (K) and the tube holders (L).

2. Install the inner fender in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Left side: Make sure the fuel filler pipe tube is installed securely.
- Push the clips into place securely.
