Rear Seat-Back Cover Replacement

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the seat-back Rear Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Remove the armrest Rear Seat Armrest Replacement.

3. Release the hooks (A), the Velcro fasteners (B), the hook strips (C), and the clips (D).






4. Remove the screws, then remove the seat belt guide (A).






5. Separate the seat-back covers/pads (A) and the seat-back frame (B).






6. Pull back the edge of the seat-back cover (A) all the way around, and release the upholstery rings (B), then remove the seat-back cover.






7. Install the cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the hook strips and the clips.
- Use only original Acura replacement seat-back covers.
- Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
