Dashboard Center Vent Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- The left dashboard center vent is shown; the right dashboard center vent is similar.

1. Remove these items:

- Without navigation: Audio unit Audio Unit Removal / Installation
- With navigation: Audio/navigation switch panel Audio-Navigation Switch Panel Removal/Installation

2. Remove the screws, then remove the dashboard center vent (A) from the center panel (B) while releasing upper tabs (C) with the appropriate trim tool.





3. Install the vent in the reverse order of removal, and push the tabs into place securely.
