1) The Tiptronic Switch-F189 is integrated in the printed circuit of the symbol insert located in the cover for the shift mechanism. In case of a malfunctioning, check the Tiptronic switch first. Check whether the solenoid valve, located on the side of the slide is properly secured. If it is not properly secured, replace the slide. If the solenoid valve is properly secured and the wiring is OK, replace the symbol insert with integrated printed circuit.
