Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motors

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment.

CAUTION!
Danger to life due to high voltage.

Removing

- Remove headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp, when Reusing Current Headlamp ] Headlamp, when Reusing Current Headlamp.

- Release securing guides - arrows - and remove headlamp housing cover.





- Remove bolts - arrows -.





- By pivoting adjustment motor - 1 - to the side, push ball head of adjustment axle out of ball head mount.

- Remove headlamp beam adjustment motor out of headlamp housing.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 -.

Installing

• Tightening specification, refer to => [ HID Headlamps Assembly Overview ] HID Headlamps Assembly Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- First, insert ball head of adjustment axle from the side into ball head mount of reflector, to do so pull reflector toward rear.

• Always adjust headlamps after removing, installing or replacing adjustment motors.

- Close the housing lid.

- Install the headlamp, refer to => [ Headlamp, when Reusing Current Headlamp ] Headlamp, when Reusing Current Headlamp.
