Coat the bearings and the sliding surfaces with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).





1 Cable Mounting Bracket

Selector lever cable to transmission

23 Nm

For attaching the cable bracket to the transmission

3 Selector Lever Cable

Do not bend

The selector lever cable must be replaced if the protective sleeve is damaged.

Do not lubricate the cable eye and ball socket

With integrated selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with selector lever (E313), tiptronic switch (F189), Selector lever park position lock switch (F319) and Shift lock solenoid (N110), do not touch these

Check the vehicle through the Guided Fault Finding vehicle tester.

With integrated selector lever sensor system control module (J587) with selector lever (E313), tiptronic switch (F189), Selector lever park position lock switch (F319) and Shift lock solenoid (N110) can only be replaced with the mechanism function of the selector mechanism, refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Function Unit ] Selector Mechanism Function Unit
