ATF Cooler and Pipes Assembly Overview
1 O-ring
• Replace
• Lubricate with Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF).
2 Bolt, 21 Nm
• Only tighten with the pipes fully inserted.
3 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Manually insert it all the way into the transmission and then tighten it
• Depending on the version, this pipe together with pipe, => [ (Item 9) Pipe ] is a long, single piece pipe. On certain engines it is necessary to cut through the pipe in order to remove it and then replace it with a two piece pipe.
4 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Manually insert it all the way into the transmission and then tighten it
• Depending on the version, this pipe together with pipe, => [ (Item 10) Pipe ] is a long, single piece pipe. On certain engines it is necessary to cut through the pipe in order to remove it and then replace it with a two piece pipe.
5 Bracket for ATF pipe
6 Bolt, 5 Nm
7 Bolt
• 10 Nm, only on 6 cylinder engines
8 Bracket
9 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Tighten the fitting, refer to => [ Fittings , 29 Nm ]
• Depending on the version, this pipe together with pipe, => [ (Item 3) Pipe ] is a long, single piece pipe. On certain engines it is necessary to cut through the pipe in order to remove it and then replace it with a two piece pipe.
10 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Tighten the fittings, refer to => [ Fittings , 29 Nm ]
• Depending on the version, this pipe together with pipe, => [ (Item 4) Pipe ] is a long, single piece pipe. On certain engines it is necessary to cut through the pipe in order to remove it and then replace it with a two piece pipe.
11 ATF cooler
• Clean the ATF cooler, refer to => [ ATF Pipes and Cooler Cleaning ] ATF Pipes and Cooler Cleaning.
12 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Manually install it all the way into the cooler and then tighten it.
13 Bracket
14 Pipe
• Note allocation.
• Manually install it all the way into the cooler and then tighten it.
15 Bolt, 5 Nm
16 Bolt, 5 Nm
17 Nuts, 5 Nm
18 Bracket for ATF pipe
19 Bolt, 5 Nm
20 Bracket
Fittings - arrows -, 29 Nm
• For the ATF pipe connections.
• Note the ATF line allocation.
