Cover, Separating from Upholstery

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634)

• Removal and installation of the left 2/3 bench seat is described here. Removal and installation of the right 1/3 bench seat is identical.

Removing






- Remove the seat bench. Refer to => [ Bench Seat ] Bench Seat.

- Cut through the clips - 3 - with pliers - 4 -.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from cushion - 2 -.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Make sure the contour strips fit correctly and the cover is not wrinkled.

- When installing new upholstery clips, use (V.A.G 1634).
