Exterior Mirror Turn Signal Lamps (L131)/(L132)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry Lever (80 - 200)

• Protective Gloves

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






Risk of injury.

• Wear protective gloves.

• To protect the paint in the area around the mirror housing, tape it off with a soft cloth.

- Press mirror glass - 1 - out of mirror adjusting unit - arrow - using (80 - 200).

- If present, disconnect electrical connectors on rear side of mirror glass.

- Remove bolt - 2 -.






- Remove housing - 1 - upward from mirror base - 3 - - arrow -.

- Remove screws - arrows -.






- Remove mirror mount - 2 - from housing - 1 -.

- Remove screws - arrows -.






- Remove the turn signal housing - 1 - from the exterior mirror housing - 2 -.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 3 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Exterior Rearview Mirror Turn Signals Overview ] Service and Repair.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• The entire exterior mirror turn signal must be replaced if an LED is faulty.

- Attach mirror glass at mirror adjusting unit and press on mirror glass.

• Make sure to press only in mirror center.
