Luggage Compartment Side Trim







Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Pry Lever (80 - 200)

Removing

- Remove the screen separator.

- Remove the side cushion. Refer to => [ Side Upholstery ] Side Upholstery.

- Versions with rear side airbag: remove the rear side airbag. Refer to => [ Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202) ] Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202).

- Remove the rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ] Rear Cross Panel Trim.

- Remove the gap cover. Refer to => [ Gap Cover ] Gap Cover.

- Versions with retaining track: remove the retaining track. Refer to => [ Retaining Track Rails ] Retaining Track Rails.

- Remove the front luggage compartment floor panel (vehicle tool box). Refer to => [ Front Storage Area Floor ] Front Storage Area Floor.

- Remove the coat hook. Refer to => [ Coat Hooks ] Coat Hooks.

- Remove the cover for the luggage compartment side panel.






- Remove the screw - 1 -.

- If equipped, remove the rubber grommet - 2 - from the partition net bracket.

- Pry off the luggage compartment side trim - 3 - using the (80 - 200) from the body - arrow A -.

- First disengage the luggage compartment side trim from the retaining bracket - arrow B - and then remove the D-pillar and C-pillar trim.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

If the trim clamps remain in the body mounting points, remove them and insert them in the trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

- First mount the luggage compartment side trim on the centering pins and press and it engages audibly.

- Stretch the rear lid seal lip over the luggage compartment side trim.
