Rear Outer Belt Guide

Removing and installing is identical for the left and right sides.

Removing






Do not rotate the bolts - 3 - under any circumstances when removing and installing belt guide - 1 -. The manufacturer has already set the bolts.

Replace the entire belt guide if damaged.

- Remove the side cushion. Refer to => [ Side Upholstery ] Side Upholstery.

- Versions with rear side airbag: remove the rear side airbag. Refer to => [ Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202) ] Driver Side Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N201) and Front Passenger Rear Thorax Airbag Igniter (N202).

- Versions with fixed rear seat backrest: remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed ] Rear Seat Backrest, Fixed.

- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to => [ Rear Shelf ] Rear Shelf.

- Remove the foam piece under the belt guide.

- Push the belt guide retaining hook - 4 - upward and hold it there.

- Slide the belt guide - 1 - back - arrow A - until the bolt heads - 3 - can be disengaged from the console on the body.

- Slightly lift the C-pillar trim - 2 - and remove the belt guide sideways toward the vehicle interior - arrow B -.

- Rear outer right seat belt guide: Disconnect the connector for the rear parking aid warning buzzer (H15).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Insert the belt into the depression in the belt guide - 1 - and then place the belt guide on onto the bracket.

- Insert the belt guide with the bolt heads - 3 - in the guides on the console.

- Press the belt guide down while pulling it forward. This engages the bolt heads in the guides.

- Pull the belt webbing forward until the retaining hooks engage audibly.
