Air Injection Control Valve: Service and Repair






Secondary Air Injection Combination Valve

Removing

• Removing and installing left cylinder bank 2 is shown in the illustration.

- Disconnect vacuum hose - 3 -.






- Remove the secondary air hose - 2 - by pressing the release buttons.

- Remove the bolts - 4 - and remove secondary air injection (AIR) combi-valve.

• Ignore - 1 -.

Installing

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Secondary Air Injection System Overview ] Service and Repair.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace the seal and O-ring.
