Defect Code 01:

*D* 900 Defect code memory: SRA relay defect code is stored:

Explanation: The general module detects via the diagnostic link from the SRA module Pin 7 to GM connector D (yellow) Pin 21 whether the SRA relay picks up and drops out again when the headlight washer system (SRA) is activated. This defect code is also stored when the line itself has a break or the SRA module is removed.

Possible cause: Wires GM-SRA module, SRA module (SRM), fuse for SRA, ground connection.

Note: The defect code may also be stored when the SRA pump runs without water. In this case, there is no electrical fault.

Troubleshooting:

1. If no defect can be found despite a defect code being stored, check diagnostic link from GM connector D (yellow) Pin 21 to SRA module Pin 7 and repair if necessary.
2. Check fuse and power supply for SRA module and repair if necessary.
3. Check ground wire to SRA module and repair if necessary.
4. Check wires from general module to SRA module and repair if necessary.
5. If fuse and all wires are OK, renew SRA module (SRM).
