Front Fender Liner: Service and Repair




51 71 040 - Removing and installing/replacing front left or right wheel arch cover





Important!
Risk of mixing up
Make sure the various screws are fitted in the correct locations.

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Release front lip Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Left or Right Lip
- If necessary, remove left/right front wheel Removing or Installing Front or Rear Wheel





Release long screw (1).
Release short screws (2).





Release short screws (1).
Release expansion rivet (2).

Installation Note:
Make sure front wheel arch trim is correctly seated.





Replacement:

Note:
Front wheel removed for purposes of clarity.

If necessary, release screws (1).

Feed out repair cover (2) in direction of arrow from front wheel arch trim (3).
Right side only:
If necessary, modify bottom right wheel arch trim Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Bottom Right Wheel Arch Trim.
