Latch Replacement - Lift Gate (Rendezvous)

Removal Procedure





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the liftgate latches.
4. Remove the bolts from the liftgate latches.
5. Remove the liftgate latches from the liftgate.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the liftgate latches to the liftgate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the bolts to the liftgate latches.

Tighten the liftgate latch bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connectors to the liftgate latches.
4. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate (Trim Panel Replacement - End Gate) .
5. Close the liftgate.
