Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Transmission Protector Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .





2.Remove the mounting bolts (1) for the front suspension frame transmission protector.

3.Remove the front suspension frame transmission protector (2).

Installation Procedure





1.Position the front suspension frame transmission protector (2) on the frame.

Caution:Refer to Fastener Caution .

2.Install the front suspension frame transmission protector mounting bolts (2) and tighten to22 N �m (16 lb ft).

3.Lower the vehicle.
