Sunroof Glass Panel Seal Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the glass panel (3).
2. Pull away from the channel at the rim of the glass in order to remove the weather-strip (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Clean the old adhesive from the channel at the rim of the glass.
2. Apply a 152 mm (6 in) strip of adhesive to the side of the glass panel (3).
3. Start with the end of the weather-strip (1) covering 77 mm (3.03 in) of the previously applied adhesive.
Working around the glass panel (3), push the weather-strip (1) into the channel.
4. Cut tree the end of the weather-strip (1) at the side in order to allow a 3-5 mm (1/8-3/16 in) overlap.
5. Place a small amount of the adhesive on the tree end of the weather-strip (1).
6. Butt the ends of the weather-strip (1) together, pushing the free end into the channel.
7. Force the remainder of the weather-strip (1) into the channel.
8. Allow the adhesive to dry.
9. Adjust the glass panel (3) in order to achieve good sealing action.
